The peaceful death has taken place at the Donegal Hospice, Letterkenny on Monday 4th August 2025 of George McLaughlin, Legnahoorey, F92 YA39 and Ballaghderg, Letterkenny.
Deeply missed by his loving daughter Patricia Nugent and husband Clement (Ballygawley), sons Seamus and wife Mary (Glencar), and Danny and wife Máire (Legnahoorey), grandchildren and great-grandchildren, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews and a wide circle of family, friends and neighbours.
George is predeceased by his wife Molly (1994).
Rest in Peace
George’s remains will be reposing at Legnahoorey, F92 YA39 from 2pm until 10pm on Tuesday 5th August and from 12 noon until 10pm on Wednesday 6th August with Rosary both nights at 9pm.
Funeral from there on Thursday 7th August at 10.15am going to St. Eunan’s Cathedral, Letterkenny for 11am Requiem Mass which can be viewed live on www.churchservices.tv/letterkenny. Interment afterwards in St. Eunan’s Church graveyard, Raphoe.
