The peaceful death has taken place of Gerry McFadden, Naas, Co. Kildare and formerly Breenagh, Glenswilly, surrounded by his loving family at St Brigid’s Hospice, The Curragh.
Brother of Raymond McFadden (Breenagh, Glenswilly).
Gerry is survived by his loving wife and soulmate Ann and by his two beloved and loving children Simon and Joanna, his adored grandchildren of whom he was so proud, Oisín, Ruby, Conor and Finn, his brother Raymond , his son-in-law Derrick and daughter-in-law Siobhan, his brothers and sisters-in-law, his nephews and nieces and a wide circle of friends.
May Gerry rest in peace.
Gerry will repose at his home on Tuesday, 16th July, from 5pm to 7pm with prayers at 7pm.
His funeral will take place on Wednesday with Requiem Mass at 10am in the Church of Our Lady and St David, Naas, followed by burial at St Corban’s Cemetery.
Gerry’s family would like to thank their wonderful neighbours and friends who were of such support to him and Ann during his short illness.
Gerry’s family will be forever grateful for the care he received during his short illness, by Professor Barbara Ryan and all the staff in the Hermitage Clinic and also for the short and peaceful time he had in the loving care of the exceptional staff of St Brigid’s Hospice.
