The death has occurred of Gertrude (Gertie) Patton
(née Cummins), Mullindrait, Stranorlar, Co. Donegal (F93 K6YH) and formerly of Ballinagare, Co. Roscommon.
The peaceful death has taken place in her 92nd year at St Elizabeth’s Nursing Home Athboy Co. Meath of Gertrude Patton, (nee Cummins) Mullindrait, Stranorlar.
Predeceased by her late husband Edward, her brothers Johnny and Ger.
Much loved mother of John (Miriam) and Barry (Celine). Cherished grandmother of Edward (Annie), Clarice (James), and Helena (Sean) and great grandmother of Ella.
Gertie will be sadly missed by her brother Gus and wider family circle, neighbours and many friends.
May her gentle soul rest in peace
Her remains will repose at her late residence from 11am to 10pm Sunday 26th.
Funeral leaving from there on Monday at 10:30AM for 11:00AM Requiem Mass in the Church of Mary Immaculate, Stranorlar followed by burial in the family plot in St. Patrick’s graveyard, Drumkeen.
