The sudden death has taken place at his home on Tuesday, 30th January 2024 of James (Jim) Patrick Gallagher of Fallard/Calhame, Letterkenny, retired Garda Superintendent and originally from Corr Point, Lettermacaward, predeceased by his brothers Michael and Eamonn.
Deeply missed by his loving wife Kathleen, daughters Jimelle and Ciara, sons Michael and James, son-in-law Shaun, granddaughter Leah, grandson Noah, sisters Maureen, Anna and Dolores.

Reposing at the Eternal Light Chapel of Rest, Mountain Top, Letterkenny (F92 XE35) from 2.30pm to 4.30pm on Thursday 1st February concluding with removal to St. Eunan’s Cathedral Letterkenny for reception prayers at 5pm, reposing overnight for 11am Requiem Mass on Friday 2nd February which can be viewed live on the link www.churchservices.tv/letterkenny followed by burial in Cill Bhríde Cemetery, Lettermacaward.
