The peaceful death has taken place on Monday 1st June 2026 at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Stranorlar of Joe McFadden, 16 Abbey Villas, Manorcunningham F92 YX65.
Deeply missed by his loving daughters Martina McElhinney, Noelle Brogan, and Clara McElhinney, grandchildren Tristan, Shania, Codey, Jessica, Taylor, Jayden, and Ammiyah, great-grandchildren Sophia, Freddie, and Ruby, sons-in-law Derek McElhinney and Kelvin McElhinney, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, and a wide circle of family, friends, and neighbours.
Joe is predeceased by his wife Gloria (2023) and son Joseph (2008), brothers John, Barney, and Jim, and his sister Kathleen O’Donnell.

Joe’s remains are reposing at his late residence on Tuesday 2nd June from 4pm until 10pm and on Wednesday 3rd June from 12 noon until 10pm, with Rosary both nights at 9pm.
Funeral from there on Thursday 4th June at 10.15am travelling up Main Street Manorcunningham going to St. Columba’s Church, Drumoghill for 11am Requiem Mass. Interment afterwards in the adjoining graveyard.
