The peaceful death has occurred of John Friel, Ballynakilly, Churchill and formerly Ougtherlin, Rathmullan on 13th January 2026 surrounded by his loving family.
Beloved husband of the late Sheila, predeceased by his brother Paddy and his parents Katie and Paddy.
Treasured Daddy of Caroline (Andy), Marie (Peter), PJ (Brigid) and Michelle.
Cherished granddad to Shaun, Paula, Andrew, Jamie, Emmett and Katie and adored great-granddad.
Dearly missed by his extended relatives and friends.
Rest peacefully Daddy in God’s loving arms.

Funeral mass on Thursday 15th January in St. Columba’s Church, Glenswilly at 11am followed by burial in Rathmullan cemetery.

The house is strictly private to the family at the request of the deceased.
