The death has taken place of John Joseph Mitchell, Glencar, Letterkenny, formerly of Shaw, Greater Manchester, England and originally of Irishtown Co. Mayo.
Peacefully in the caring hands of the staff in the Donegal Hospice.
Loving husband of the late Josie Mitchell (O’Hagan). Cherished father of Anthony (Nicola), Maureen (Iain) & Annemarie (Robin). Much loved pops to Molly, Kiera, Jack, Grace, Henry, Nuala, Zach, Finley & Oliver. Sadly missed by his brothers Billy (Kathleen) & Gerry (Eileen). Fondly remembered by his dear nieces & nephews. Predeceased by brothers Tom, Francis, James, Kevin & Eamon. Always remembered by extended family members, neighbours and Friends.

John’s remains will repose at the residence of his daughter Annemarie Bowes, Derora, ChurchillF92 E7W2 from 12noon until 10pm today, Wednesday 19th June.
Funeral from there on Thursday morning 20th June for requiem mass in St. Colmcilles Church Glendowan at 11am followed by interment in Templedouglas cemetery. Funeral mass can be viewed on https://www.facebook.com/stcolmcilleschurchglendowan.
