The death has taken place of John McDaid, of 9 Lisowen Green, Buncrana, on September 29th after a prolonged illness.
John is survived by his devoted wife, Hannah; his beloved children; Sharon, Samantha, Julie, and Shaun; and his adored grandchildren; Iarlaith, Rhian, Fionn, Jack, Aine, and Hannah, along with his siblings Gerald, Kieran, Sadie, and Kathleen.
In accordance with John’s wishes, a private wake for family only will be held at McLaughlin Funeral Home, Main Street, Buncrana, this evening, Tuesday, September 30th, from 4pm to 7pm.
Remains will repose at St Mary’s Oratory, Buncrana tomorrow, Wednesday, October 1st, from 4:30pm to 8pm where you are welcome to pay your respects.
Requiem mass will be celebrated there on Thursday, October 2nd, at 10am with burial afterwards in Cockhill Cemetery.
