The death has occurred of John Patrick Friel, 61 Admiran Park, Stranorlar, Donegal, formerly Gortnatra, Fanad and London. Peacefully, surrounded by his family, at Letterkenny University Hospital.
Deeply regretted by his wife Susan, sons Terence and his partner Trish (Burtonport), John and his partner Karen (Surrey) and daughter Caroline (Stranorlar).
Sadly missed by nephews Patrick (Cashel, Fanad), Brendan (Dungloe), nieces Marie (Dublin), Sinead Giles (Letterkenny), Eimear (Cashel, Fanad), sisters-in-law Kathleen Patterson and her husband Stephen (Letterkenny), Anne Roff and her husband Chris (London) and Sally Friel (Cashel, Fanad), brothers-in-law George Shiels and his wife Maria (Letterkenny) and John Patrick Shiels (Letterkenny). Fondly remembered by his extended family, neighbours and many friends.

John Patrick’s remains will repose at his late residence, Stranorlar from 2pm this afternoon, Friday March 3rd.
Removal from there at 11.30am on Sunday morning, March 5th arriving at St. Mary’s Church, Fanavolty, Fanad, for 1pm Requiem Mass, followed by burial in the adjoining graveyard.
Rosary at 9pm both nights. House private from 10pm to 11am.
