The death has occurred of Mamie Boyle (née McCauley)
St Mary’s Nursing Home Shantalla and formerly of Maunsell’s Road, Taylor’s Hill, Galway City, Galway.
Formerly of Arranmore Island, Co. Donegal and former principal of Scoil Róis primary school.
Mamie passed away peacefully after a short illness. Dearly beloved wife of the late Charlie, who pre-deceased her in 2021. Much loved mother of Grace, Danny, Mary and Phil. Beloved mother-in-law to Ciaran, Mary, Frederique, and Hugh.
Mamie will be very sadly missed and mourned by her children and grandchildren: Colm, Catherine and Conor Doyle, Una and Clare Boyle, Charlie, Amy and Patrick Ward, Charlie, Annie and Conor Boyle, sister-in-law Kathleen (Kay) Boyle and brother-in-law Phil Bán Boyle, by her beloved nieces and nephew Mary Dolores, Phillip and Caroline Mc Cauley and her Boyle nieces and nephews, Boyle and Mc Cauley relatives and friends.
Reposing at Hazelwood, Taylor’s Hill (H91 VXP6) on this Monday, January 23, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Requiem Mass on Tuesday, January 24, at 11 a.m. at St Joseph’s Church, Presentation Road (H91NCW0). Funeral after Mass to Rahoon cemetery. Family flowers only please. Donations if desired to the Poor Clares, Nuns’ Island, Galway.
