The death has taken place of Margaret McAteer, neé Friel, Doaghbeg, Fanad, Co. Donegal, peacefully at Letterkenny University Hospital surrounded by her loving family.
Predeceased by her parents James and Mary, husband Willie, and her brothers Seamus, Charlie and Michael.
Deeply regretted by her sons John (Maria), James (Maureen), daughters Sheila (Mark Tierney), Angela (Damien Lynch) and Marie (Marty Mc Ateer) and her adored grandchildren Gemma, Liam, Jamie, Tyler, Kadyn, Michael, Luke, Jake, Shaun, Cormic, Ciaran, Zoe, Clara, Calum, Amy and Lucy.
Sadly missed by her brothers John and Patrick, sisters Annie, May and Sheila her extended family, neighbours and many friends.

Margaret’s remains will repose at her late residence (F92T289) from 6pm this evening, Tuesday 30th September.
Removal from there at 11.30am on Thursday morning, 2nd October arriving at St. Mary’s Church, Fanavolty for 12 noon Requiem Mass, followed by burial afterwards in the adjoining graveyard.
Rosary both nights at 9pm.
