The peaceful death has taken place at Hillcrest House Nursing Home, Long Lane, Letterkenny on Tuesday 6th June 2023 of Muriel McGrath, née McNamee, Rowan House, Magherennan, Letterkenny F92 X8DV and formerly from Glenties.
Deeply missed by her loving son Sean (Churchill), daughters Anne (Letterkenny), Joan (Germany) and Lorna (Letterkenny), sons-in-law Allan and Joe, daughter-in-law Ann (Letterkenny), grandchildren Sinéad, Brendan, Fionnuala, Paul, Deirdre, Ciara, Thomas and Gillian, her seven great-grandchildren, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and a wide circle of family, friends and neighbours.
Muriel is predeceased by her husband Arthur in 1999 and her son Art in 2018.
Rest in Peace
Removal from The Eternal Light Chapel of Rest, Mountain Top, Letterkenny this afternoon, Wednesday 7th June 2023 at 4pm going to the family home at Rowan House, Magherennan.
Muriel’s remains will be reposing at her late home today, Wednesday from 6pm until 10pm and on tomorrow, Thursday 8th June from 12 noon until 10pm with Rosary both nights at 9pm.
Funeral from there on Friday 9th June at 10.30am going to The Church of the Irish Martyrs, Ballyraine for 11am Requiem Mass which can be viewed on the Parish YouTube Chanel https://www.youtube.com/@churchoftheirishmartyrs4657.
Interment afterwards in Conwal Cemetery, Letterkenny. Family time on the morning of the funeral please.
