The peaceful death has occurred at his home in Farrigans, Lettermacaward of Packie Joe McCahill.
Predeceased by his parents Biba and Joe, his brother Danny, sister Sheila, sister-in-law Nuala, nephew Martin McGonagle and niece Bridie McFadden.
Survived by his sisters Philomena and Mary, brother Peter, brothers-in-law Noel Gallagher, Packie McGonagle and Packie Boyle, sister-in-law Frances McCahill, nieces and nephews and a wide circle of friends.
Packie Joe’s remains will repose at McGlynn’s Funeral Home on Sunday 19th and Monday 20th October from 3.00 pm to 8.00 pm, with rosary both nights at 8.00 pm.
Funeral Mass on Tuesday 21st October at 11.00 am in St. Brigid’s Church, Lettermacaward, with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
House strictly private on the morning of the funeral.
