The death has occurred of Peggy McGinty (née Quinn), 376 Ballaghderg, Letterkenny, Co. Donegal, formerly Cloghanbeg, Cloghan, County Donegal.
Predeceased by her beloved husband Thomas (2015), her brother, Jimmy, and sisters Nanny Stewart and Kitty McDaid.
Much loved mother of Thomas (Orla), Michael (Breege), Bríd (Johnny), Patrick (Sharon), Charles (Aoife), Eunan (Niamh), Catherine, Mairead (Kevin), John Paul (Doreen), Ann-Marie, and Kevin. Cherished grandmother to her 16 grandchildren. Deeply regretted by her large circle of family and friends.
May her gentle soul rest in peace.
Peggy’s remains will repose at the family home from 2pm on Friday, 20 June 2025.
Requiem Mass will take place at 12.00 noon on Sunday, 22 June 2025 in St. Eunan’s Cathedral, Letterkenny, followed by burial in Conwal Cemetery.
Family time from 11.00 p.m. to 12 noon daily. Rosary each night at 9.00 p.m.
