The peaceful death has taken place after a short illness at St. James’s Hospital of Rosaleen Doherty, Shankill, Dublin, Derry and Buncrana, September 4, 2025.
Dearly beloved sister of Charles (deceased), Breedge, Philip and Fr. Patrick, sister-in-law of Ruth, aunt to her nieces and nephews, and daughter of the late Hugh and Margaret.
A member of the Teresian Association, she gave life-long service as teacher, Principal then Manager of The Teresian Junior School and Chairperson of the Board of Management of the Teresian Secondary School at Donnybrook, Dublin 4.
Very sadly missed by her family, members of the Teresian Association, staff, students and parents, past and present, of The Teresian School.
Reposing at Rom Massey & Sons Funeral Home, Cranford Centre, Stillorgan Road, Dublin 4, (opposite UCD Flyover), on Sunday, September 7, from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m., and on Monday afternoon, September 8, from 3:30 p.m., prior to departure, at 4:30 p.m., to the Church of the Sacred Heart, Donnybrook, arriving for Reception Prayers at 5 p.m.
Funeral Mass on Tuesday, September 9, at 12:30 p.m., followed by burial at Dean’s Grange Cemetery.
