The death has taken place peacefully at Altnagelvin Hospital, after a short illness of Thomas (Tommy) McDowell, 1 Edanmount Park, Derry.
Beloved husband of Carmel, loving father of Brona, Mark, Emer and Damien and a devoted grandfather, dear son of the late George and Cassie, cherished brother of William, George and Marie.
Dearly loved and will be sadly missed by the wider family circle and friends.
Tommy will be reposing at his home, 1 Edanmount Park tomorrow, Saturday September 16th from 2pm to 10pm and on Sunday from 2pm to 10pm.
Funeral leaving his home on Monday morning, September 18th at 9:20am going to St Eugene’s Cathedral for Requiem Mass at 10am.
Interment afterwards in the City Cemetery.
