The peaceful death, after a long illness, has occureed of Valerie (Vals) McCafferty on 11th. February 2025, at her home, 18 Jeffrey Avenue, Derry, BT47 6DB, surrounded by her loving family. Formerly of Corrody Road, Derry.
Loving mother of Eamonn, dear mother-in-law to Lisa, beloved daughter of the late Jim and Mae, cherished sister of Richard, Moira, Kathleen, Jim, Michael, Angela and the late Margaret and Eamonn and a loving aunt to all her nieces and nephews. Dearly loved and will be sadly missed by the entire family circle.
Valerie will be reposing at her home on Tuesday 11th. February from 5:00 p.m.
Funeral leaving her home on Thursday 13th. February at 9:20 a.m. to St. Columb’s Church, Chapel Road, Derry for Requiem Mass at 10:00 a.m. Interment afterwards in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Ardmore.
