
The peaceful death has taken place in the loving care of the staff of the Donegal Hospice of William (Willie) Cannon, 20 Beechwood Avenue, Letterkenny (F92 NWN2) formerly Crove, Carrick, retired member an Garda Síochána.
Pre-deceased by his wife Nora, brother John (Pettigo), sisters Mary Butler (Shrewsbury) and Kathleen Guidera (London).
Deeply regretted by his sons Declan, (New Jersey), Jerry (Rowanpark), Liam (Glenleary, Ramelton) and daughter Marie (Kilmacrennan), grandchildren Keelin, Conor, Albhe, Eimear, Adam, Eyrn and Mia, sisters Bridie Marron (London), Lena Woods (San Francisco), sister-in-law Anne (Pettigo), daughters-in-law Annette, Tracy and Brenda, in-laws, relatives and friends.
Reposing at his late home from 6pm this evening, Friday February 16th and from 12pm until 9pm on Saturday February 17th with Rosary each night at 9pm.
Funeral from there on Sunday February 18th going to St. Eunan’s Cathedral for 12 noon followed burial in Conwal Cemetery.
