Neil Martin to lead Ireland at World University Games

Finn Valley’s Neil Martin has been appointed as Ireland Athletics Team Manager / Leader for this summers World University Games in Italy.
Managing Ireland teams is nothing strange to Neil who has lead teams at major competition across the globe at various age categories.
He was manager to the team which seen Sommer Lecky and the women’s relay squad win silver at the World U-20 Championships last year in Finland.
Also in 2018 Neil was made chair of High Performance on the Athletics Ireland Board.
The 2019 World University Games will be held in the city of Naples from 3 – 14 July.
