“Legal highs” stolen in Letterkenny

It’s emerged that a quantity of so-called legal highs has been stolen in Letterkenny. Today’s Donegal News is reporting an adult shop was broken into over the weekend.
Over €1,000 euro worth of the legal drugs was taken from the adult shop on Letterkenny’s Pearse Road in Friday night / Saturday morning last. Gardai were called when it was realised that a front window had been smashed, allowing thieves enter the building. It’s believed a sum of cash was also taken in the raid, along with a number of other items.
The weekend incident in Letterkenny comes just weeks after a similar robbery in Donegal Town, in which over €7,000 worth of similar substances was taken.
That precipitated a public meeting in the town last week calling for such substances to be banned.
