Gardai are hoping their Easter weekend warning road safety warning will significantly reduce the high level of drink driving and speeding offences detected at the same time last year.
The Head of the Donegal Traffic Corp, Inspector Michael Harrison, says that looking at figures for last Easter the message so far is not getting though.
Six people have died on Donegal’s road this year, 15% of the national total.
