Major improvement in Donegal sexual assault treatment services

It has been claimed that sexual assault treatment services in Donegal are now on a par with the rest of the country.
That is according to Dr Maeve Eogan, the Medical Director of the Sexual Assault Treatment Unit in Rotunda Hospital.
Previously a victim of a sexual assault could be forced to face a round trip to Dublin for treatment; however staffing levels have now been boosted at the treatment unit in Letterkenny offering a full service.
