4,000 effected by broadband outage

As a result of damage to a fibre cable just outside Derry, over 4,000 customers in the Letterkenny have experiencing a disruption to their broadband service.
The damage was caused by a third party carrying out road works in the area.
Eircom says that crews have been working onsite working to restore service and assuming there are no further complications were  expect to restore service to customers by 10pm on Wednesday evening.
