Up to 3,000 households without power as winds hit Donegal

The ESB has indicated that up to 3,000 homes are without power in the county as high winds lash the county this afternoon. The worst of the problems are being experienced in the area of Milford, Kilmacrennan and Termon, with some outages on the outskirts of Letterkenny.
Problems have also been reported in the vicinity of Falcarragh.
An ESB  spokesperson indicated in the region of 2,500 households are out in the North East of the county, with the rest aound the West and South West.
