Man dies after being hit by tree in Kilmacrennan

A man in his mid forties has died while cutting down a tree in the Termon area. It’s believed the man, named locally as 47 year old Danny Gallagher, lost his life when the tree fell on him just before 1 o’clock this afternoon.
Gardai in Milford are investigating the circumstances, and are believed to be treating it as a tragic accident.
