Can’t Pay, Won’t Pay promises a month of protests against household charge

The Can’t Pay, Won’t Pay campaign has organised a series of Public Meetings across the Donegal this month.
With the introduction of the Household Charge on January 1st the group says it  intends to make January a month of protest.
Meetings will be held in a number of towns across Donegal including Arranmore, Inver,Fintown, Buncrana, and Dungloe, Ballyshannon and Milford.
The first meeting takes place in Jacksons Hotel, Ballybofey next Monday 9th January at 8pm.
It emerged today that 700 people have already registered for and paid the 100 euro charge.
