Donegal North East Deputy Pádraig Mac Lochlainn has said the polictical campaign to prevent the closure of rural garda stations must continue.
At the weekend, Deputy Mac Lochlainn led a Sinn Fein Deputation to meet with Donegal’s Acting Chief Superintendent Jim Sheridan to discuss a number of concerns.
Deputy Mac Lochlainn says the Chief Superintendent played down the closure of stations, stresingt that gardai have the resources to carry out their duties.
However, he says recent comments at the GRA conference show there is concern among the garda grassroots…………..
