It’s emerged that gardai are investigating a number of incidents in the
vicinity of Leck Cemetery in recent weeks following complaints from local residents.
There have already been behind the scenes discussions between local councillors and Superintendent Vincent O’Brien about the incidents, and today, the issue has come to the fore as a result of a photograph of a grave and memorial which has been hung on the cemetery gates.
Cllr Dessie Larkin, who raised problems at Leck last week says this is symptomatic of a deeper problem, and he’s hoping the public discussion will help stop it:
