Donegal make history with back to back Ulster Titles

Donegal are the Anglo-Celt Cup Winners after a storming second half performance in Clones on Sunday.
It’s the first time in history that Donegal have won back-to-back Ulster Championship titles and the first times any team has achieved the feat having taken part in the preliminary round
Frank McGlynn and Leo McCloone hit the net to help Jim McGuinness’s team to a big 2-18 to 13 points win over Down.
Donegal keeper Paul Durcan says today’s win was bigger than last year’s Ulster success

Defender Karl Lacey was asked if ever thought Donegal could win back-to-back titles:

Donegal march on to the All-Ireland quarter-finals while Down will take on Tipperary in round 4 of the qualifiers.
That game was preceded by the minor final which Tyrone won beating Monaghan 0-14 to 1-8.
