Students considering first round of CAO offers

50 thousand CAO candidates are facing big decisions today with the release of the first round of third level offers.
The points race has had mixed results – requirements for over 5 hundred courses have gone up on last year’s figure, but they’re down for more than 4 hundred others.
Over half of higher degree courses have increased their demand for points.
The highest points requirement for a course at Letterkenny Institute of Technology is 405 for General Nursing, up five on last year. 375 points are required for Psychiatric Nursing, up 10 and 370 for Intellectual Disability Nursing, up 20.
