Tyrone motorcyclist dies during Manx Grand Prix

A Tyrone motorcyclist has been killed in a crash during a race at the Manx Grand Prix on the Isle of Man.
48-year-old shop-owner Trevor Ferguson from Castlecaulfield was married with three children.
He was a former winner of six Irish National Road races.
Mr Ferguson was the uncle of fellow road racer Ryan Farquhar.
Meanwhile, a Police motorcyclist has been injured in a collision in Derry.
At approximately 10.40 this morning, a police motorcycle collided with a grey Honda Civic on the Victoria Road. The police officer on the motorcycle was taken to hospital for treatment to injuries which are not believed to be life threatening.
Police are urging witnesses to contact them.
