Buncrana has been found to be ‘cleaner than European norms’ in the latest Irish Business Against Litter league table which has been published this morning.
Cavan came out on top, but there is no classification for Letterkenny which withdrew from the league earlier this year.
Buncrana is ranked 15th of 42 areas around the country, with 17 found to be cleaner than European norms.
Dr Tom Kavanagh is the chairman of IBAL – he says they were disappointed with Letterkenny’s performance in the last table and subsequent withdrawl from the league, but are delighted with what he termed Buncrana’s excellent return……
