Donegal IFA call on Government to maintain farm schemes in budget

Following a harsh summer for farmers, the IFA is calling on the government to ensure farm schemes are maintained on December’s budget.
Due to the wet summer, farmers across the country are facing a 400 million euro increase in feed costs this winter.
Davie Keith of the Donegal IFA says this is putting extra pressure on many farmers in the county.
He says as well as the government maintaining farm schemes, banks must also be accommodating to farmers struggling financially:
