The President of LYIT says its new science laboratories will help it better match the needs of the increasing number of students attending the institute.
The 4 million euro facility adds over 1,000 sq m of fully-equipped science laboratories with a total of 8 labs.
There has been a 55% increase in student number at LYIT in the last 5 years, with currently over 3,000 people studying at the college.
President Paul Hannigan says they are now better equiped to serve their needs………
