Funding granted to select site for Tory Island helipad

The government has allocated funding to progress plans for a helipad on Tory Island.
Gaeltacht Minister Dinny McGinley announced the allocation of a grant of €1,500 to Donegal County Council to appoint an Aviation Consultant to advise them on the suitability of a site.
Minister McGinley said he was very happy to be able to sanction the grant for the provision of what he describes as an important piece of infrastructure for the island.
