Visiting restrictions at Letterkenny General Hospital have been extended to all parts of the hospital after the spread of symptoms of vomiting and diarrheoa across a number of wards.
Yesterday, the hospital imposed restrictions at Surgical 1 and Medical 3, but visiting is now restricted on all wards with the exception of parents and fathers in Maternity.
In cases where people have a family member who is very seriously ill, visiting can be arranged through the ward manager.
