North West Tourism says it is optimistic of a strong year for tourism in Donegal through The Gathering, Derry’s year as City of Culture and the strong promotion of other attractions in the county.
Failte Ireland is painting an upbeat picture at its annual tourism industry briefing for the North West Region in Bundoran today.
There will be heavy promotion this year of the Wild Atlantic Way, Sliabh Liag, Donegal’s golfing product as well as other events and festivals.
