Joe McHugh says dealing with NI’s legacy issues important to Good Friday committee

The Chairman of the Joint Committee on the Implementation of the Good Friday Agreement has re-iterated the importance of dealing with the North’s legacy issues.
Justice for the Forgotten – a group representing victims of the Troubles – will attend a meeting of the committee today to give their perspective on the manner in which victims of the Troubles are being treated.
The aim of the meeting – which comes just weeks after the failure of the Haass talks – is to continue a process of seeking answers for families who lost loved ones during the Troubles.
