One man arrested as gardai seize 400 thousand euro of cannabis in Castlefin

 
An estimated  €400,000 worth of cannabis has been seized in Castlefin.
The drugs were seized as part of an intelligence led operation involving the Garda National Drug Unit, Customs Revenue Enforcement Officers, and the Divisional Drug Unit  Donegal.
The seizure was made shortly after 8pm on Tuesday evening.
One male in his early 30’s has been arrested and is currently detained under section 2 of the Drug Trafficking Act 1996 in Letterkenny Garda Station.
It is the second major drugs seizure this year.
In January, four people were arrested after gardai seized cannabis plants with an estimated street value of €360,000 in Ballybofey.
