The Donegal Competition’s Control Committee have slapped a 48 week ban on a Glenswilly supporter for grabbing St Eunan’s manager Maxi Curran.
The incident happened in April’s league meeting between the two clubs at Pairc Noamh Columba where a Glenswilly supporter came onto the pitch and grabbed Curran.
The Glenswilly club are facing a fine of €1000 with half of it suspended pending no further incidents into the future.
The Gardai are also investigating incidents that happened at the game.
The supporter and the club have the right to appeal the sanctions to the Donegal Hearing’s Committee.
