Representatives from Letterkenny Rovers and Cockhill Celtic were in Dublin on Wednesday to attend a hearing into an alleged incident of racial abuse during their recent FAI Intermediate Cup tie.
The hearing follows an allegation that a Cockhill player used words of a racial nature towards an opponent when the two clubs met in the FAI Intermediate Cup in Cockhill last month.
The clubs attended a hearing of the FAI’s Disciplinary Control Unit at FAI headquarters in Dublin yesterday.
They are expected to be informed of the outcome of that hearing over the next couple of days.
