Dissident Republicans have refused to withdraw threats against Council workers in Derry in the wake of a public rally yesterday.
In a statement released to the media from the ‘IRA’ they reiterated their intention to harm any workers whom they claim are ‘assisting Crown Forces’.
The statement states that anyone deemed to be “actively or passively” assisting ‘Crown Forces’ can “expect the same fate as a British police officer or soldier”.
