An East Derry MLA says he believes an hourly service between Belfast and Derry is viable, and will be introduced.
John Dallat, the SDLP’s spokesperson for Transport in the Assembly was speaking after he met the new chief executive of Translink, David Strahan. He says it was a constructive meeting, and he left it confident of progress.
Mr Dallat says over a million people now use trains in the region, and he believes this will be reflected in future plans….
