LYIT come from behind to reach semi final

The Letterkenny LYIT qualified for the semi finals of the Colleges and Universities Football League last night.
Niall Mc Gonigle’s side beat Carlow IT in Carlow 5-3 to reach the last four.
The LYIT were 2-nil down at half time but came back to score five second half goals.
Two headers from Cockhill’s Peter Doherty, and one each from Finn Harps Cathal Mc Daid, Kilmacrennan’s Daire Mc Daid and Letterkenny’s Steve Okakpo completed a brilliant comeback to insure a semi place game against CSN early in the new year.
