Kelly Brook turned down a role in “EastEnders”.
The ‘Piranha 3D’ actress has revealed she met with producers of the BBC One soap but decided she wanted to see if she could make it across the pond in the United States first.
She said: “I was approached by ‘EastEnders’ a while ago, but I wanted to go to American first and try other things.
“They were creating roles, so it was a general chat about what kind of role I could do on the show, it was a good discussion.
“I could see myself as a barmaid in the Queen Vic, I’d love it, I think it would be so much fun.”
The brunette recently wrapped on comedian Ellen DeGeneres’ new sitcom ‘One Big Happy’ and is hoping it will go further.
Kelly the Daily Mirror newspaper: “I think we’re making something really special.
“We’ve done six episodes, but I hope it gets picked up for a full 24 episode season.
“It’s nice to go away and work with different people. If it gets picked up I’ll be there [in California] eight months of the year, but I’ll always come back to Britain.”
