A 25 year-old Inishowen man who admitted dangerous driving causing the deaths of 8 people has appeared in court this morning
Shaun Kelly was due to be sentenced today at Letterkenny Circuit Court but the case has been adjourned until next week.
The victims died in a head on collision at Meenaduff between Buncrana and Clonmany on July the 11th 2010.
Mr Kelly, of Ballymagann, Buncrana, was the driver of the car in which seven of his friends died and the driver of a car coming in the opposite direction was also killed.
The collision resulted in the largest loss of life in a single road crash in the history of the state.
Mr Kelly had previously pleaded not guilty to the charges but changed his plea to guilty in July.
