Mailey signs up for another season at Finn Park

Packie MaileyFinn Harps have announce that Packie Mailey has signed for the club for the 2015 season.
Mailey made his debut for Harps in a League Cup game away to Sligo Rovers in 2009 and has gone on to clock up 111 first team appearances since.
During his two spells with Harps, the Convoy man was voted by Harps fans as ‘Player of the Year’ on no fewer than three occasions, including the 2014 season.
Packie said he was delighted to sign again for 2015. “I am really thrilled to be back at the club for the 2015 season. I really enjoyed last season being back at Harps after taking a short break. I think there is a lot of positives from last year and we can build on them by keeping a strong core of last season squad and adding to it
“There is a lot of positivity at the club with the Schools Programme and Academy going from strength to strength,” he continued. “It’s a great time to be involved with Finn Harps as there is a professional feeling around the club. Ollie, James and Tommy have brought honesty and hard work to the club and they leave no stone unturned in preparation so I can’t wait for pre-season to get started for the 2015 season.”
Finn Harps Manager Ollie Horgan said: “We are all very happy that Packie has committed for 2015 because he was an important part of our defence which performed so well for the most part of last season. He is a leader both on and off the park and every club need players with those qualities.”
