Shaun Kelly to be sentenced for Inishowen death crash today

Shaun Kelly 2A 25 year-old Inishowen man who admitted dangerous driving causing the deaths of 8 people is due in court this morning to be sentenced.
Shaun Kelly was due to be sentenced on Tuesday of last week, but the hearing was adjourned until today.
The victims died in a head on collision at Meenaduff between Buncrana and Clonmany on July the 11th 2010.
Mr Kelly, of Ballymagann, Buncrana, was the driver of the car in which seven of his friends aged between 19 and 23 died.
66 year old Hugh Friel, the driver of a car coming in the opposite direction, was also killed.
The collision resulted in the largest loss of life in a single road crash in the history of the state.
Mr Kelly had previously pleaded not guilty to the charges but changed his plea to guilty in July.
