Durkan believes respite services may continue at “The Cottages”

The Stormont Environment Minister Mark H. Durkan says he is confident that the Western Trust will not proceed with the proposed withdrawal of respite services at the Cottages in Derry.
He says he and other Foyle MLAs have had a series of meetings with Health Minister Jim Wells, as well as discussions last week with the CEO of the Western Trust.
Mr Durkan says Jim Wells has now given a fairly strong indication that a positive outcome could be imminent.
