Donegal parents meet with Kenny and Varadkar to discuss palliative care for children

The pressure group ‘Our Childrens Voice’  say they had a very positive meeting with Health Minister Leo Varadkar last night to discuss the lack of Palliative paediatric care in Donegal. While in Leinster House, they also had an unscheduled meeting with the Taoiseach .
Currently the parents have to travel to Dublin to the Children’s University Hospital, Temple Street, Dublin, and say having such services available in Derry or Belfast would make life easier for them.
Spokesperson Gina Grant says Minister Leo Varadkar spent 40 minutes listening to their stories, and they also got to meet with Taoiseach Enda Kenny………
